I’m delighted to say that a new website is on the way. The domain has been purchased, and the site itself is under construction – will be going live by summer 2017, and so in the meantime I will be leaving this site up for information and reference, and I will post an update once the new site goes live. Keep an eye out for:

Massive overhaul to the website coming soon!

Hi everyone! So with a new year comes a new site. As well as Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl, a lot of great things have been happening with my other work. As a result of that I am going to be releasing a completely updated website with full updated information that focuses on all of my shows and work in the Spring, including Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl.

In the meantime, I hope that you will bear with me while the changes are made. Past information is being left here for reference until the new website is published. If you wish to contact me in the meantime, please e-mail redheadedcoffeeshopgirl@gmail.com.

The Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl is heading to Redhead Day UK!

I’m very excited as we near September 17th, as Joanie’s first adventure, Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl, is going to feature at Redhead Day UK 2016! What could be more appropriate than joining a line-up of brilliantly-talented redheads at the Candid Arts Trust in Angel, London to celebrate all things redhead?! An abbreviated performance of the show will be on the stage at 4:30pm. Click on the image below for more info on Redhead Day UK!

★★★★★ and ★★★★ reviews for Adventures of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl at Edinburgh!

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016 is now over, but Joanie’s story went over really well with audiences enjoying her adventure to the Jane Goodall Institute, Tanzania, and reviewers responding with four- and five-star reviews! Fringebiscuit said that Adventures is “a superb musical…bursting with hope and wild characters” and gave it ★★★★★! Broadway Baby proclaimed it to be “a triumphant come-back for sell-out performer Rebecca Perry”, while The Reviews Hub hailed it as “a spellbinding one-woman show” – both gave it ★★★★! It was also lovely to be on the sold out board again, and we were shortlisted for the Edinburgh Fringe Sustainable Practice Award by Creative Carbon Scotland!

24 performances later, and it feels like it only began a few days ago! Nevertheless, my thanks to the Gilded Balloon and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for another memorable and exciting month in Scotland! The RCSG team bids Edinburgh farewell for this year, and we hope to be back again soon!

★★★★ reception for Joanie at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

Seven shows down at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year, and already Adventures of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl has earned two ★★★★ reviews! Arts Award Voice said that “Rebecca has a beautiful voice and natural talent…compelling and intriguing”. The Mumble said “It’s just so bloody unique”.
